As most people are aware on January 21, 2025, the Deep South got blanketed in Snow. In many areas, there was over 1.5 inches of snow which broke multiple records.
This picture was taken the 2nd day after the snow had stopped. The leaves of the Holly Tree were beautifully covered in snow and the sky was a beautiful shade of blue.

Although it was a beautiful sight to see, I was cold. We managed to get out and take a few pictures despite the roads being icy with patches of snow and ice. Since my husband grew up in the New England area and learned to drive in snow and ice, he received the honor of driving.
In reality, they were not letting me out of the driveway with my new car—something about costing quite a bit of money and it being a rear wheel drive. That’s ok, I got to look at the scenery and he drove.

This is the back of the church on Lake Defuniak Springs in downtown Defuniak Springs, FL You can see where the snow has already started melting underneath the trees.
